New HSA Series by Servomech: high performance linear actuators for high speeds and high loads

Servomech has always been aimed by innovation. For this reason we made a constant job in research and development to guarantee to our customers solutions always up-to-date to the latest market needs.

A practical demonstration of this attitude is for example the new HSA Series: a new range of linear actuators, ball screw drive, specifically designed for high linear speeds associated with high loads, always under the accurate control of the position, speed and force.

Lubrication is one of the most critical aspects in case of high linear speeds. For this reason Servomech has developed innovative solutions, such as the sealing system for the lubricant inside the ball nut and the re-lubrication system of the nut with homing position.

Transmission on HSA Series linear actuators is based on high-performance Gleason© bevel gearbox. High precision ball screw, made by Servomech, are available from Ø 25 mm to Ø 80 mm. 6 different sizes available, with load capacity from 5 kN to 150 kN. This new series of linear actuator can perform linear speed up to 1 m/s with standard stroke length up to 1000 mm.

Proximity limit switches are available for the safety control of the extreme limit positions, incremental or absolute encoders are available for positioning control. The actuators are prepared for IEC standard asynchronous motors or brushless servomotors according to the customer’s specific requests.
